I can see if there's a advisory, watch or warning
I cannot get it set to my location. When I press follow me I just get the spinning circle. I can see my location at the top but it will never set it!
Would love to download the app, But it continues saying checking for current location. I've tried several times and the same situation. One time it came up as me being in New York when I'm in Tennessee. It's sad when channel 2 wants you to download so you can be safe and inform but app doesn't work. I downloaded Channel 5 and it works great.

Unlike the iphone version, the android version of the app is pretty bad. It has a heavy battery drain and doesn't air Danielle's voice for the advisories/watches/warnings or updates like the iPhone version does. Same goes for the main news 2 app with the battery drain.
Used to be my go to weather app, but it got to a point to where it couldn't find my location. Even after going through all of the settings. Eventually deleted and went back to weatherbug.
Was a great app. Now they have started showing 30 second ads to watch a 60 second weather video. Gfys channel 2
